Halloween the Italian Way

As you may already know, Halloween is not a traditional Italian celebration. However, since the 1990s, the popularity of Halloween has been constantly growing. Nowadays, if you are in Italy on the 31st of October you are likely to find many little trick-or-treaters. Kids like to dress up for Halloween, but adults do too! Halloween parties are really popular now, and you will find plenty of them organised in most towns and cities. Most shops will also be selling Halloween decorations and costumes

National Pasta Day

Today we want to share with you this recipe for a new twist on your pasta dishes. Tasty and crispy pancetta, combined with fresh and crunchy tenderstem broccoli. A perfect combination! Different versions of this recipe are typical of many areas of southern Italy. This simple sauce is perfect with penne or orecchiette, but today we are making it with gnocchi. We think it’s perfect comfort food for a rainy day!
