Day 1 | Fly to Pisa from a selection of UK regional airports. Transfers to Montecatini are provided. Evening introduction to your fellow travellers and Inghams Representative.

Day 2 | Today we visit the beautiful region of Chianti, known throughout the world for its excellent wines but also for its unique landscape of rolling hills and vineyards. We make a stop in a small Tuscan town for free time for lunch and also visit a winery to taste the local wines.

Day 3 |  Guided tour of Siena, with visit to the beautiful Gothic cathedral. Then onwards to San Gimignano, famous for its many towers.

Day 4  | A day at leisure or perhaps you would like to join an optional excursion to the Cinque Terre in nearby Liguria. The Cinque Terre, literally the Five Lands, have some of the most picturesque seaside villages in the Mediterranean. Part of the trip is by boat, weather permitting.

Day 5 | The crowning highlight - a full day in Florence with a guided tour of the world famous Uffizi Gallery and the incredible Duomo. We travel to Florence by train and then meet our local guide for a walking tour of the historical centre.

Day 6 | A day at leisure to perhaps take the funicular up to Montecatini Alto where there are lovely views. The town is also well connected by train to Florence and other destinations, should you wish to travel further afield.

Day 7 | A day at leisure or perhaps an optional trip by train to the nearby medieval city of Lucca or further afield to Pisa to see the famous leaning tower.

Day 8 | Transfer provided to Pisa airport for return flight to UK or connection to your second centre.
